where’s the soup?

I am frequently asked where all these soups can be found, well, this page is the answer to that question:

Farmers Markets: Available year round, hot and sometimes frozen. If you are coming for hot soup, bring a 32 oz. Wide Mouth Mason Jar and save $2 (they are $11 to fill) you can also purchase one for $1.50 from the soup booth…if I have remembered to bring them.  There are also smaller sizes available 12 oz for $5 and 16 oz for $6.50 (paper cups provided) Baywood Park: Mondays from 2:00-4:30 pm, you can fill your jar starting at 1:30, however I can not accept payment until 2pm.  Morro Bay Spencer’s Parking Lot Thursdays from 2:30-5pm, and Cambria Vets Hall Parking Lot Fridays from

Sunshine Health Foods, Morro Bay: Farmers Market Inspired Soups, Available in the Freezer Section, assorted varieties. 30oz frozen soups are $9.99. Side note: Sunshine Health Foods is awesome, go there if you haven’t been and eat lunch next door at the Shine Cafe, this will be the best decision you will make all day.

Soto’s true earth market: located in the east village of Cambria and owned by 4 super cool folks. These guys also carry my dad’s organic Meyer lemons!

  1. I am going to the Morro Bay farmer’s market and want to be clear on the cost for a 32 oz size jar of soup. If I don’t bring a 32 oz jar – the cost is $11+ $1.50 for the jar= $12.50..Is that right?

BUT if I bring my 32 oz jar the cost is $9.00 (which includes the $2 savings with my own jar?).

    Thanks,
    Jen

    • Hi Jen! Thanks for your question! So, if you bring your own 32 oz jar, it’s $11 to fill. If you don’t have a jar, you can buy one from us for $1.50 and fill it for $11 (total of $12.50). Let me know if you need anymore clarification and we hope to see you soon!
