Grateful

I have just so much for which to be thankful. It was a beautiful, foggy Sunday here on the coast and we loaded up our two teenaged mountian biking buddies and headed out to the fabulous Montana De Oro. It was their first time peddling the peak and did they ever charge! You just haven’t lived until you’ve peddled up a 5 mile climb at 13 year old boy pace! I’m exhausted, my husband built a fire, the dogs have full bellies, there’s clean sheets on my bed and I’m sipping a mug of turmeric white bean soup . Life is just so blessed.

Here’s what you will find at the soup booth this week:

Monday in Baywood and Thursday in Morro Bay and Friday in Cambria

1. Split Pea

2. Mike’s vegetable Barley (who’s mike, you ask, he’s great and he suggested the name and I love customer suggestions)

I look forward to seeing you guys and don’t forget your jars!

Reunited

I just returned from San Francisco where I spent the weekend with two of my dearest friends from high school. It was a whirlwind trip but always such a pleasure to see them and hear about how well they’re doing.

I’m excited to offer a soup made just from heirloom tomatoes that Jorge grew. I’ve been waiting a whole year for this and I can’t wait for you to have some.
