Springtime official

Who saw wildflowers this weekend? From the looks of my Instagram, it would appear that EVERYONE did! This has been just a fantastic superbloom and a glorious reward for surviving a wet winter! The lupine are just getting started so get out there!!

Big waves and wind

Geez you guys, the ocean was a crazy place this weekend. We stayed safe on the shore and played in the creeks which are all flowing so beautifully!

I’m so excited for a bit of extra sunshine to sweeten up the springtime fruit! I got a 3 pack of blueberries from Cortez farms last week and ate the whole thing in two days. They were fantastic!

Warm 🌱

Wow, what a stunning weekend that was! We spent the weekend at one of our favorite spots up in Big Sur. The water was crystal clear and deep enough to dive into and it was just beautiful! The waves were a little too big for me to longboard so I grabbed the sponge and boogie boarded until dark. Washed clean by the serpentine water of Big Sur and the salty Pacific, I’m ready for a week of soup making and seeing my dear dear customers!

Soup both Brian, Little Red Hen Bread Kirsten and I visited Stepladder Creamery this weekend. We were tipped off that they have FOURTY baby goats ripe for snuggling! We got a guided tour of the facility and orchards, tasted glorious cheese and the absolute topper was playing with the animals. Check out their website http://www.stepladdercreamery.com for details about booking a tour! I highly reccomend it!

I hope you stayed cozy this weekend and were able to get out and about during the 5 minute break in the rain!
