… and SOME people get to go to New Zeland

Hey guys!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to labor day! Hopefully everyone is settling back into the school schedules (except Cal Poly, of course).

Farmers market trips in the Fall is one of my earliest childhood memories (the Baywood market to be specific) my mom would pick me up from Sunnyside elementary and we’d stroll through the market and I’d beg her not to make stir fry 😂😂 (I was a macaroni and cheese kid). It’s fun to see all the kidlets experiencing the market and I’m always so impressed when they will try my soup!

Here’s what you will find at the soup booth this week:

Monday in Baywood, Thursday in Morro bay and Friday in cambria

1. Adzuki Bean and Barley (adzuki beans are little red beans, packed with nutrition, that taste like a kidney bean and feel like a lentil)

2. Heirloom Tomato Bisque

I look forward to seeing you guys and don’t forget your jars! Also, the lovely and talented soup assistant, Brian, will be on vacation for 12 days starting this Friday. Nate will be filling in on labor day but I’ll be flying solo the rest of the time so I apologize in advance if you have to wait a few extra minutes. Ill have bubbles available should the need arise.

Aaalllllso, I wanted to tell you that I had a dream on Friday night that I drowned in corn kernels. See you all soon.
