Memory lane

I thought you guys might enjoy a a picture I found in my dad’s barn over the weekend. He used to cut my hair with shop scissors to save money on haircuts, my mother must have been working too many late hours as a nurse to disagree. My parents worked their “you know whats” off to give me a delightful childhood (and adulthood)  and I am so thankful for them. They are reaching retirement age and, fingers crossed, they finally get to play and reap the benefits of all their hard work!

Here’s what you will find at the soup booth this week:

Monday in Baywood and Thursday in Morro Bay and Friday in Cambria:

1. Creamy zucchini

2. Black bean hominy

I look forward to seeing you guys and don’t forget your jars!
