Chop chop chop

This is my favorite way to eat soup. A 16 oz copper pot for one!

Hey guys! It felt so great to be back in the kitchen after having a week off! Thanks to all of you who came out to the market last week.

It’turning into winter before our eyes and can you believe it, there’s still tomatoes and a bit of corn in the market! Mostly, however, I’m shifting my attention to the winter harvest. Kanochas, Butternuts, parsnips, beets, potatoes…the bounty never ends! The upcoming soups will be full of these delights and I can’t wait to show them off to you!

Here’s what you will find at the soup booth this week

Monday in Baywood Park, Thursday in Morro Bay and Friday in Cambria

1 . adzuki bean and barley ( I’m seasoning this one a little differently this week…so come try it out!)

2 . creamy parsnip sage

I look forward to seeing you guys and don’t forget your jars!
