Giant carrots!


You may have seen me trucking through the market with the hugest carrots ever (see photo above of Grace, bread lady Kirsten’s pony, enjoying one)…well…they are not only huge,  they are delicious!  Sometimes, a cook has to be careful when choosing a larger than average vegetable because it lacks in flavor but not in the case of the huge carrots from Linda Dela Cruz 🙂 these guys are sweet and tender and heading into most of the soups this fall and winter …here’s what’s coming up:

Monday in Baywood, Thursday in Morro Bay, and Friday in Cambria
Golden Beet with roasted fennel and red quinoa and Tuscan white bean **CAMBRIA FOLKS** I’m making you guys corn chowder because you had fennel beet last week 🙂
