Queen for a day

Markleeville, CA

Many thanks to Sarah Linn of the Tribune for the full page spread in the Sunday paper about the cookbook and soup business! How fun!

Looks like the weather is on a cooling trend ( finally…yeesh! ) and it was obvious in Cambria that the thermostats were turned to “soup.” Thanks to those of you who waited so patiently in line. I’m working on lining up a fellow soup ladeler for Friday’s ( in addition to Monday’s) so you won’t have to wait as long.

Here’s what’s happening at the soup booth!

Monday in Baywood: mushroom barley and tempeh menudo ( hominy, tempeh and red chilis…medium spicy)

Thursday in morro bay and Friday in Cambria: Turkish Bride Soup and roasted cauliflower leek ( please note change)

I look forward to seeing you all and don’t forget your jars!
