Jorges tomatoes!


Above is sereph, son of Nathan who sells raw milk in morro bay ( for those who have not tried his raw cheese or raw cream, do so immediately ) I had to share his amazing art piece!

So, for those of you who have read the tomato carrot recipe in my cookbook, you know about my obsession with Jorge’s organic heirloom tomatoes. They are the absolute best around and they are back! I’ve reserved two cases for this week’s soup and will be begging for more after that! Here’s what’s coming up this week:

Monday in baywood: artichoke white bean and cashew cream of roasted zucchini

Thursday in morro bay: although there will be a market with limited vendors, I won’t be one of them, happy 4th of July!

Friday in cambria: heirloom tomato carrot and black eyed pea with barley and tarragon
