Hey guys! what a GLORIOUS weekend! good waves, beautiful weather, and the wildflower finale! I hope you all enjoyed it! Last week, for dinner, I roasted two of Ed Ciscineros’ Japanese yams and couldn’t belive how good they were so I was inspired to make a soup with them. HOWEVER, Ed was absent from the market in Cambria last week so Im taking a big gamble that he will be there this Monday in Baywood and also have enough Japanese Yams to make three batches of soup with. Only time will tell, so just a heads up, you may get a suprise back up plan on Thursay and Friday if the yams are scarce. Heres the plan…for now =)

Monday in Baywood: Split Pea and mushroom barley

Thursday in Morro Bay and Friday in Cambira: Creamy White Bean Artichoke and Roasted Japanese Yam with Himilayan Pink Salt and Sage (I hope)

I look forward to seeing you all and don’ forget your jars!
