its been a whirlwind of a weekend for your soup lady you guys! I drove up to Santa Rosa with a dear friend to visit our other dear friend on Saturday then “speed visited” and headed back to SLO county on Sunday afternoon (hence the late post!).I will drink up some Dark Neckter coffee tomorrow morning and hit the kitchen to make some yummy soups as it sounds like it may be another chilly one tomorrow! Here’s whats cookin! Soups are all gluten free this week.

Monday in Baywood: Turkish Bride Soup (red lentils and brown rice) along with Cashew Cream of Broccoli

Thursday in Morro Bay and Friday in Cambira: Yellow Split pea and Carrot Ginger (this ones for you, John, sorry your jar cracked!)

I look forward to seeing you all and don’t forget your jars!

  1. Hi there – what gluten-free soy sauce are you using for the Turkish Bride soup?

    • I have actually been ommitting the gluten free soy sauce/tamari in that soup as I think it drowns out the mint flavor. I will check the brand when I get to the kitchen tomorrow and get back to you.
