cherries are here!

thanks for a great day of cherry piking Carson and Ellie!

In case you haven’t noticed, the cherries are in season! We are about three weeks in to thier extremely short season so get um while they’re hot! ( or better yet, room temperature!) I had the fortunate opportunity to go cherry picking this weekend at my neighbor’s farm, nothin like picking fruit right off the tree! Amazing. Although Im super exited about cherries, I haven’t found a way to make them into soup…so here’s what you can eat before your cherry dessert!

Monday in Baywood, Thursday in Morro Bay and Friday in Cambria: Cream of Roasted Zucchini and Turkish Bride Soup (just grabbed some Meyer lemon’s from the farm to add the finishing touches to these)

I look forward to seeing you all and don’t forget your jars

Please give us an idea what is inTurkish Bride Soup.

    • Hi Pamela, Im assuming I got back to you too late on this one…sorry. If you are ever wondering what is in a soup there is a tab called “ingredients list” on the homepage of this website. All the ingredients are listed there. I don’t get too specific on the spices, but if you have any specific allergy concerns, please let me know! take care.
