SPRINGTIME

wow, what a beautiful weekend! I drove up highway one today and went swimming in one of the creeks up there that was at least 12 feet deep…so cool! This sunshine has brought on more crops of delicious and healthful spring time veggies such as fennel, arugula, and fresh mint….these veggies plus some more will be combined this week in a Springtime Minestrone, don’t be fooled, there are still no fresh tomatoes so you won’t see any in the soup! Also at the soup booth will be an old favorite Chana Masala or Indian Chickpea Vegetable on Monday and Friday, Thursday will be having Split Pea .  The chick pea vegetable is being made becaue of a customer request, if you ever have a request or suggestion, never hesitate to let me know! I look forward to seeing you and don’t forget your jars!

    White (Tuscan) bean with kale! Everything you make is delicious, but there’s something extra yummy about those white beans…
